Frozen Planet II Camera Motion Control System

Frozen Planet II is the latest landmark BBC nature documentary series, presented and narrated by Sir David Attenborough. It was filmed by the BBC Natural History Unit, on every continent and in space, and is a sequel to the original 2011 Frozen Planet series.
For both series, Brooklyn NY-based KFX Technology provided camera motion control systems specifically designed for filming motion control and time-lapse sequences. The electronics and software for the motion controllers in each case were designed, developed and supplied by DC Allen.
DC Allen have worked closely with KFX since 2008, developing their range of camera control systems which have been used on numerous high profile shoots.
